Every venue. Every system.
Handled.

Braid is the AI operating system for hospitality, connecting all your tools in one place.

The problem

Your business runs on a dozen apps. None of them understands the business.

  • POSknows what sold.
  • Rosteringknows who worked.
  • Accountingknows what got paid.
  • Inboxholds the invoice, the lease and the landlord's email.
  • Your managerknows why Friday went sideways.

The questions that decide your margin never sit inside one system. Why was Friday less profitable than expected? Why has food margin slipped? What should change next week? Answering them means eight logins, a spreadsheet and a long night. Braid answers them for you.

Meet Braid

Start every day knowing what matters.

No more opening eight systems before service. Overnight, Braid reads everything across every venue and tells you what happened, why, and what needs you today.

Good morning, Alex.

How it works

From what happened to what happens next.

Most software stops at the report. Braid closes the loop: it connects the facts, works out why, recommends a change, makes it, and checks whether it worked.

  1. 01

    Connect

Every system maps into one model of your business. The same person, product and supplier appear once, however many tools they live in.

  2. 02

    Understand

Braid combines your numbers with your documents, rules and history. It knows Friday close needs three people until 1:30.

  3. 03

    Recommend

What happened, why it happened and what should change, with the evidence attached.

  4. 04

    Act

Approve it, and Braid makes the change where it belongs: the roster in Deputy, the price in Square, the order with your supplier.

  5. 05

    Learn

Braid checks the result against the plan, and remembers what worked for next time.

See it think

Your POS says Friday made $23,400. Braid tells you why it should have made more, and what to change before next Friday.

Likely cause

Slow bar service between 7 and 10 pm. The guests were there; the drinks weren't getting to them.

Recommendation

Move one experienced bartender into 7 to 10 pm and cut one late close. About 3.5 fewer labour hours.

The platform

Every module is a view into one business.

Forecast, labour, stock and finance share the same data, so a change in one shows up in all of them. Keep the tools you like; Braid works across them or replaces them, one module at a time.

Forecast and plan

Know what's coming, venue by venue.

Braid forecasts sales, covers and item demand for every service, using your trading history, bookings, weather and local events. Managers add what only they know, and every plan is kept, so you can see what was expected against what happened.

  • Sales, covers and item demand
  • Weather, events and bookings built in
  • Manager overrides, with the reason
  • Plan against actual, every service

Labour and rostering

Rosters that match the forecast.

Braid drafts each roster to expected demand and your labour target, keeps to your own rules and checks it against the award. Publish it to Deputy or run rostering in Braid, then see how every shift performed against its plan.

Stock and margin

Margin on every drink and dish.

Orders are built from the forecast, par levels and supplier lead times. Deliveries are checked at the door, counts happen on a phone, and every recipe is costed from the latest invoice. When costs move, Braid shows which items slipped and updates the price in your POS once you agree.

  • Ordering from forecast demand
  • Receiving and supplier claims
  • Phone stocktakes and variance
  • Live recipe costing
  • Actual against theoretical usage
  • Menu prices updated in your POS

Start with the software you already pay for. When you're ready, move rostering, bookings or inventory onto Braid's own apps, and pay for one platform instead of several.

Connect

Keep the tools you have

Braid connects to your POS, rostering, bookings, inventory and accounting software on day one. It understands them together and makes approved changes inside each one. No migration, and nothing new for your team to learn.

Why Braid

Built for how hospitality actually runs.

Sharper every week

Braid remembers what it recommended, what you changed and how it turned out, so every suggestion builds on the last.

Built for groups

Owners see the group, area managers see their region, and a venue manager sees their venue. Every screen works for one venue or fifty.

Front of house to back office

Forecasting, rosters, stock, bills, bookings, guests and reviews in one place, so the whole story of a shift sits together.

Made for bars, too

Pours, cases, kegs, vintages and cocktail modifiers are built in. An extra shot comes off stock like everything else.

Australian by design

Award rules, GST, super and public holidays are built in, with Xero at the core. Made in Melbourne.

Your data, any model

Your business lives in one model you own. Change your POS or your AI provider, and everything built on top keeps working.

About Braid

Melbourne
Australia

Built behind the bar.

Braid began inside a working bar in Melbourne.

Like most operators, we ran the venue on a POS, a rostering app, an inventory tool, a bookings platform and Xero, with the real picture stitched together in spreadsheets and group chats. Every system knew its own corner. None of them knew the business.

So we set out to build the operating system we wanted: one that understands the whole business, works out what needs doing, and gets it done with us in control. Every feature is tested behind our own bar before it reaches yours.

Questions

Good to know.

Do I have to replace my POS, rostering or accounting software?

No. Braid works on top of the systems you already run. When you're ready, you can move rostering, bookings or inventory onto Braid's own apps, one at a time, to cut the number of subscriptions you pay for and give Braid's AI more to work with. Your POS and Xero stay connected either way.

Which systems does Braid work with?

Point of sale: Square and Toast. Rostering: Deputy. Accounting: Xero. Bookings: OpenTable. Plus Google Business Profile, Gmail, Slack and WhatsApp. Running something else? Tell us. Braid is built to add providers without changing anything that sits above them.

Will the AI make changes without asking?

Only where you allow it. Every workflow starts as a suggestion or an approval. You choose which routine jobs Braid can automate, and the limits it works within. Every action is logged and explained.

Is Braid for a single venue or a group?

Braid is built for groups, from two venues to fifty, and works just as well for a single venue getting ready to open its second.

Which AI models does Braid use?

Braid is model-agnostic. It uses leading models from providers such as Anthropic and OpenAI, and your team can connect its own AI assistants through MCP and the Braid API. Your data and history stay with your business, whichever model you use.

How does Braid keep our information secure?

Permissions run from the whole organisation down to a single venue, record and action. An agent can never see or do more than the person it acts for, and every material change records what changed, who or what started it, why, and whether it can be reversed.

How is Braid priced?

Per venue, based on the modules you use. Book a demo and we'll put together a quote for your group.

Calm control, from the first delivery to the last guest.

What does your business need right now?

Braid can tell you. Book a 30-minute demo and see it run a working venue.
